Independent of this it has been an original and long-term policy to have and promote within the company a culture that is built around the desire to be a service provider of the highest possible quality at all times.
Qld Gas Services also has in place a safety policy that meets or exceeds the requirements of the Queensland Workplace Health & Safety Act 1995.
A workplace health and safety program has been developed to cover all aspects of the company’s activities and copies are available upon request.
All policies are regularly reviewed and amended as necessary to reflect gained knowledge, incident report recommendations and changes to legislation.
A trained and approved safety officer oversees the training and compliance with the company’s safety objectives.
Qld Gas Services use standard operating procedures for all types of work we carry out, a Permit to Work system for confined space, hot work, and special work. Pre start, JSA`s, and LOTO systems are regularly used where required. Our technicians, fitters, and welders regularly work in hazardous area environments.
